Food Trip Friday: Saging Saba

I noticed while I was browsing all the Food Trip Friday entries, all of them yummy, sumptuous and “bonggacious” foods,  but mine is a bit different. We call it in Visayan term “Inato” which means “homely” or we cook it in a homely way. Its the Saging Saba (Pinoy Banana) which is a local banana variety that is popular here in the Philippines.

I really love this kind of banana when its cooked like this and its best paired with “bagoong” and some chili in it.
