Swiss Easter Chocolates
Oh gosh! Forgive me if I blogged so lately about Easter. Ive been so busy and I just realized that I haven’t written a blog post about Easter chocolates, eggs, bunnies and other Easter foods. My mom took a lot of photos when they celebrated Easter a week ago that’s why I also wanted to share some photos of their yummy and delicious sweet treats.
Chocolate in Switzerland is extremely versatile. Each season, festival, and region has their own specialty crafted from the national delight just like Easter where they celebrate it with the usual edible chocolate Easter bunnies. It has been known that the Chocolate is one of Switzerland’s main exports.
Swiss chocolate is famous for its smooth texture and refined taste. Milk chocolate, a Swiss invention, is famous because of the cream and milk derived from Swiss cows. While most of the other chocolate ingredients are imported, the dairy element is pure Swiss milk.
Eating White Chocolate, Is There Any Benefit from it?
Looking at these white rabbit chocolate makes me wanna drool over! I just miss eating this kind of chocolate. Aside from the dark ones, white chocolate is also one of my favorite. Did you know that it has some benefits? White chocolate does not contain any cocoa solids so it means it doesn’t contain any caffeine so it can be eaten by any one who wants to avoid caffeine.
White chocolate has been promoted for its benefits of having a higher content of milk. It also serves as antioxidants where it can help enhance your overall health. Eating in moderate consumption of this chocolate can also lower high blood pressure. But just bear it in mind that too much intake can be harmful to your health.
Melts in your Mouth, Not in your Hands

Who doesn’t love M&M’s chocolate candies? of course most of us loves it! Although I don’t eat it that much because its quite expensive here, but I love to grab it at the store specially when I have some extra budget to buy. ^_^
In my mom’s case she always have her M&M candies . She loves to eat it almost everyday. It serves as her sweet dessert. Photo above is her favorite peanut flavored M&M chocolate candies.
According to its history, it was being introduced as a treat for the military and it became a popular candy for everyone to enjoy. The name is actually an abbreviation for their creators and it became the “official candy of the Millennium,” because MM means “2000″ in Roman numerals.
