When my younger sister and her friend spent their holiday here in the Philippines a few weeks ago, we always go to the beach since they love to swim and sun bath themselves so they could get a brown tanned skin. Laura, my sister’s Swiss friend loves to eat sweet foods and while we were walking at the beach, she found a girl who is selling some cotton candy so we hurriedly went to buy some of it.
This fluffy and delightful candy is actually a novelty to children as well as adults. It is made by melting a sugar composition and spinning it into fine strands. It remains a favorite summertime candy at carnivals, amusement parks, kiddie playgrounds, beach and more.
