Swiss Eggs

Published by at 3:10 am under cultural heritage, culture, foreign foods

My mom bought these eggs when they celebrated the Swiss National day last August 1st. For people living in Switzerland, August 1st means bonfires and fireworks which is the highlight of the celebration . And since no celebration is complete without a feast, many people mark this festival of fire by cooking sausages over a barbecue and enjoying them with friends.
