SOME THINGS NEVER CHANGE

Published by Kayce at 3:12 am under Food Thoughts,Meme

PhotobucketLike this RICOA Curly Tops Chocolates and the memories of my childhood.

Since I’ve known this sweetie it has not changed much, it only has improved its inner packaging by adding in plastic tray for the candies to prevent from crumbling, the yellow cupcake linings were out though, but the logo, the box, the color has remained the same. During my elementary years, because of this candy I received my first whip from my mother by hiding one under my pillow that called an armory of red ants that attacked the chocolates.

This was my mom’s favorite ‘pasalubong’ when she would come home from work, I would wait sitting at the doorstep for my mom to arrive. This was also my bribe price, every time I finish scrubbing the floor, not the electric mop, but the forward-backward coconut husk. I can remember I collected a jar of the yellow lining cups of these chocolates, but I can’t recall anymore what happened to that thing. Now, my kids don’t love the taste ….. Mom, Cadbury is chocolaty than this … Ok, what can I do?
